Q: How can I get a Convenience Center trash card?
A: Trash cards are renewed annually after August 31 at a cost of $36 each. However, if you missed registration or have lost your card, new and replacement cards are available in the County Judge Executive’s Office in the courthouse throughout the year.

Q: Who should I contact for animal control?
A: Todd County does not have an animal shelter or official animal control officer at this time. We have contracted with the Christian County Animal Shelter to take in our stray animals through the efforts of our Road Department, although we are limited to transporting animals only on days the shelter is open. In the interest of all parties involved, it is best to try to locate the animal’s owner before calling for a pickup. Q: Who do I contact about damaged roads or getting a road tile/culvert installed?
A: The Todd County Road Department handles the maintenance of our roadways and the installation of road tiles (culverts). To report damage to a county roadway or to request a road tile, contact your Magistrate or call Road Foreman Walton Epley, Jr., at (270) 265-5262.
Q: Where can I find information about marriage licenses and ceremonies?
A: Marriage licenses may be obtained from the County Court Clerk’s Office located at 202 Washington in Elkton, in the courthouse. The cost is $35.50. There is no waiting period in Todd County. However, once the license is purchased, the marriage must take place within 30 days. Ceremonies may be performed by the County Judge Executive. Please call (270) 265-9966 ext. 225 for an appointment.
